When we started COVENANT we knew that we’d be entering a crowded playing field of bag companies. If we were going to take on the challenge of starting a backpack and soft goods company, we should do it for the right reasons. We wanted to focus on the creative aspect of product design and product development.
As bag nerds and soft-goods enthusiasts we knew that all our products should start with quality materials and utilize durable construction techniques before anything else. But we wanted to take it a step further and design products that bridge the gap between, everyday carry, travel, and outdoor use. We’re not trying to reinvent the wheel here, instead we want to introduce familiar design features in a new way, and build a product lineup that is cohesive, versatile, and highly functional.
Our initial product launch will include two backpacks and a sling/crossbody bag. These bags will be hard-use, multi-role pieces of equipment that adventure seekers and soft goods enthusiasts can depend on. We’ll be keeping these groups of people in mind as we develop our designs.
COVENANT is a small backpack and gear brand based in Los Angeles, California. COVENANT came about as a means to leverage our passion for soft-goods design with our real world experience and build a brand that people can proudly support. We’ll be posting and sharing more about our process as we get closer to launch and we hope you’ll follow along.
